TN Aquarium and Rock City

About a month ago my Dad came to visit for the weekend and we went up to Chattanooga for the day to take Caroline and my little brother to the aquarium and Rock City. I thought for sure that Caroline was going to love the aquarium. She just thought it was ok but boy did she love Rock City! She walked every where that we allowed her to. She was worn out by the end of the day. Here are a few pics:

15 month stats(1 month late)

I have been meaning to post these but with an ongoing ear infection and too much travel we have been pretty busy. Here are Caroline's stats from her 15 month check up.

Weight:
20 lb. 11 1/2 oz. (10 - 25%)
Height:
29 & 3/4 inches (25 - 50%)
Head:
45 1/2 (25 - 50%)

Please pray that we can get rid of this ear infection. She has now had it for over a month and is on her 4th antibiotic for it. If it does not go away with this one we have to go see a specialist and have the shots for 3 days again and probably get tubes. All I can say is thank goodness for insurance as this last one would have cost almost $400 without it!

Easter

I know, I know I am very bad at this blogging thing.

We got up very early on Easter Sunday to go to church at NorthPoint. I had never been to this church and I see why everyone raves about it. They have the most amazing kids program. In Caroline's room there were probably at least 20 toddlers and 5 or 6 adults. When I went to get her all of the ladies told me how sweet she was and that they were all fighting over her. Church was during her normal morning nap so I knew that she was not going to be happy. The ladies in the classroom told me that all of the noise and other toddlers did not faze her as she laid down in the middle of the room and took her nap anyway! We then went to see Daddy at work but Pappadeaux's was packed and the smoke alarm kept going off from the omelet station. Caroline did not like that! She did however love the Easter eggs that were hidden outside in the bushes at the restaurant. Here are a few pictures from the day.

Caroline's Birthday Party

We had Caroline's birthday party this past weekend. We had it a little early so that Granny and PawPaw could come down from Kentucky and Grandpa and Nanni could come from Mississippi. They were both off for a long weekend for the holiday. Caroline's Gramps and Gran-Lou came down from Jasper too. Gramps loves Caroline a lot because he had to shovel snow and ice for 2+ hours and drive the big truck to get here. Aunt Jill and Uncle Dylan were here too! Caroline was also surronded by other wonderful family and friends. She had so much fun being the center of attention! Here are a few pictures from her day.

Thanksgiving in Kentucky.

We went to Kentucky this past weekend for Aunt Tammy's annual Thanksgiving. Caroline had so much fun tearing up Granny's house. Her Paw Paw fed her strawberry jelly and Granny fed her everything! I think Caroline's favorite time of year will be Thanksgiving! I swear as much as she ate she should weigh another pound or two! Here are a few pics. I can't wait for her to get older so she can ride the horses in Kentucky with Granny. We are going to Aunt Peg's for Thanksgiving Day, so more good food to come for the little one!

And the other baby in the family had fun too! Here is Riley with her brother. She is still pouting about not having Lucky around to chew on her ears!

Caroline's first visit with Santa

We went to see the famous Santa at Phipps a few weeks ago. Caroline could not figure out who he was! Here are a few pictures from our visit.

Halloween in Mississippi

Ok, it has been a while. I have a lot to update!! We went home to Mississippi for Halloween/my 10 year high school reunion. Caroline was a monkey for about 3 minutes for Halloween. She wanted nothing to do with that costume! I hope we have better luck next ear!
